Described below is the Tailored
Level project implemented by CSS - class "A" logistic complex. The
complex comprises the access control, time tracking system, alarm
system and CCTV.
Complex hardware is connected with the fire alarm system for the doors
emergency opening in case of fire evacuation of the employees from the
building.
Integrated security system is controlled by automated workstation with
GE Security software installed. In real time it controls the events in
the CCTV, access control, alarm systems and alarm subsystems.
In accordance with the customer requirements the system configuration
was made, taking into account the special features of the workflow and
corporate management standards adopted by the customer. For example,
the alarm subsystem is configured to flexibly change the
sensitivity of security alarms, depending on time of day, week day,
planned equipment supplies and other factors, which theoretically could
cause unwanted spurious system action. For example, large items
unloading could trigger vibrating alarm sensors installed along the
perimeter of the building.
In addition to flexible adjustment, the system allows the operator to
automate the routine processes, focusing on his duties. When watching a
fragment on video, he only needs to select the monitored object and
specify which event to begin the show with - for example, an archive
door and the event "an incorrect PIN code access."
The system takes into account the corporate standard for the physical
position of the security system server - it is installed in the
customer's head office located in another city. In the absence of
communication with the main server the system continues to function -
backup is performed at the level of each door controller and security
panels.
The backup of equipment power supply is implemented - by the customer's
request the 24-hour uninterrupted power supply of the security and
alarm systems and access control system is supported. CCTV subsystem is
able to function normally for 3 hours.
Integrity of the video subsystem information is achieved by duplicating
built-in video recorder drives with external RAID-arrays. Video archive
storage time is up to 4 months.
The main entrances are equipped with turnstiles for the proper work
time audit. Fixation is performed for all the aisles, taking into
account the daily working time set in the company. At any time there is
a possibility to get a report on any employee and visitor. The system
allows you to merge with the system of workflow management, including
accounting systems to automate the payroll, etc.
