CSS began activities on the Russian market in 1988 as the representative of the Irish company Computer Support Services, Ltd. Now it is a fully registered Russian company with 100% foreign capital. There are 56 employees in the Moscow office at present, and the total number of employees, including St. Petersburg and Kazakhstan offices, is more than 100.

In 1988 CSS carried out its first contract in Russia to supply the computer equipment and software for the joint venture "Aerofirst", which owns the duty-free shops in "Sheremetyevo-2". Soon after "Sheremetyevo-2" we were awarded similar projects for "Aerofirst's" shops in St.-Petersburg, Kiev and Vyborg.

During 1991 CSS played a key role in the Soviet-Irish Trading Company (SITCO) foundation. CSS delivered and installed the electronic wholesale system for one of the SITCO stores - Arbat Irish House in Moscow.

As one of the SITCO IT departments, CSS was one of the first in Russia to start delivery and maintenance of COMPAQ computers. In 1992 CSS achieved COMPAQ and Hewlett-Packard Partner status.

In 1993 CSS completed one of then the largest IT projects in the CIS for Tengizchevroil company (Chevron, Kazakhstan). This global corporate network connected over 40 LANs and about 700 work stations utilizing fiber optics and radio circuits. CSS presently provides maintenance and development of the network on site.

In 1993 CSS opened the St.-Petersburg office and in 1994 "CSS-St. Petersburg" was a registered company.

In 1994 CSS became the AT&T (now CommScope) Official Partner in providing the Systimax SCS cabling system. At the moment CSS is one of the leading system integrators in Russia.

CSS has established permanent engineering support departments for several large companies such as Shell and Salym.
